Did you know that in English there are numbers of expression about the kitchen?
In this lesson I am going to share three of them. Let’s
start with one of my favors “everything but the kitchen sink”. This
expression means too many things or a lot of unnecessary things.
For example, my grandfather used to joke to say that my grandmother
carried every thing but the kitchen sink and her purses. And
I have one of the bags which is used to belong to my grandmother,
inside she really did carry a lot of things, everything from flash
light to the photos albums, she truly carry everything but the kitchen
sink with her.
